At Chez Carole
Under a spectacular framework, we built a large island to complement the kitchen, and made the curtains and cushions for the bedrooms: made-to-measure at Chalet, from the workshop to the final touches.
The kitchen island
A large island made of light wood, covered with a dark veneered worktop that matches the credenza. On one side, stools fit there for breakfast facing the mountains; at the other end, an open bookcase welcomes books and tableware. On the kitchen side, large dark drawers with integrated handles are carved into the facade.
On the construction site
Cabinets, facades and worktop: the island was assembled on site, under the framework, piece by piece, until the final adjustment.
Curtains & cushions
Created by us: grey and ecru large-scale lace curtains, and embroidered cushions with the profile of the peaks. In the bedrooms, they warm the light wood and set the tone, simple and warm.
